The Catalyst CX 100 is a 100-watt, 12-inch, two-channel guitar amplifier featuring 12 Helix-derived amp voicings. It operates like a traditional guitar amp, while providing the increased versatility of a modern amp.
The Catalyst© family includes three two-channel amplifiers that operate like traditional guitar amps while providing the increased versatility of modern amps. They offer 12 amp voicings derived from the award-winning Helix© amp and effects processor, ranging from pristine clean to modern high-gain, and each is paired with a custom boost type. There are also 24 HX© quality effects spanning four effects categories.
Other features include robust construction, a Tap/Tuner button, an XLR line output, an effects loop, a power amp input for using the Catalyst CX as a powered speaker, MIDI capability, a 2-channel USB recording interface, and power output options. The free Catalyst Edit app for desktop and mobile devices provides deep editing capabilities. Add an optional LFS2 footswitch for even more flexibility, and an optional cover to protect your amp.
From the 200-watt Catalyst CX 200, capable of holding its own on almost any stage, to the 60-watt Catalyst CX 60, perfect for practicing, recording, and playing in small venues, there is a Catalyst amp for every guitarist.

Dedicated Boost
Each amp voicing is paired with an optimal boost type. Use the Boost setting to dial in the amount and the Boost button to engage or disengage the circuit.
Built-in Effects
Select from up to two of 24 Helix-derived reverb, echo, modulation, and pitch effects.
Tap/Tuner
Set the tempo by tapping when using time-based effects such as echo and tremolo. Press and hold the button momentarily to access the chromatic tuner.
Professional Connectivity
Connect the Catalyst CX to a professional sound system or recording devices using the XLR line output (with ground lift switch).
Effects Loop
Insert external effects and other gear into your signal chain using the effects loop.
Power Amp Input
Use the Catalyst CX as a powered speaker by bypassing the preamp. Perfect for use with modelers and amp simulators.
Power Output
Offers half-power, 0.5-watt, and speaker-mute options for reduced volume with minimal tonal variation.
USB
Use to connect to the Catalyst Edit app (Mac©, PC, iOS©, Android™) and the built-in audio interface, which provides 4 channels (4 in, 4 out) at 24-bit, 44.1 kHz, or 48 kHz.
MIDI
Catalyst 100 and 200 receive program change (channel/preset selection) and continuous controller messages via a 5-pin DIN connector. The Catalyst 60 supports MIDI over USB B.
