DESCRIPTION
The Sheriff 25 is a 25-watt 1x12 combo that offers maximum tone and minimum hassle. It features two channels of classic British valve rock sounds, from 60s classic rock and blues to the heavy rock tones of the 70s and 80s.
The vintage channel is designed for low-gain 60s British blues and rock, while the hot rod channel is where the high-gain heavy sounds live. Both channels have independently switchable master volumes, making the Sheriff 25 combo perfect for the studio, home, and of course, the stage!
Two channels
The vintage channel is a low-gain 60s British rock and blues sound suited for dynamic playing. The Hot Rod channel is intended for heavier 70s and 80s tones and has plenty of gain.
Master volume design
There are two master volume controls, one for each channel, and they are footswitchable. The master volume assign switch allows the volume controls to be set globally across channels or to their original vintage/hot rod channel.
Bass focus switch
This is much more than a bass EQ. It operates in the power section of the amp, offering either tighter, more focused bass or looser, more resonant lows depending on your needs and tastes.
Presence switch
Located on the back, this switch changes the brightness of the presence control; when engaged, the sound will be slightly brighter as it reduces negative feedback in the higher frequencies.
Series effects loop
A series effects loop is available for effects fans. It is completely out of the circuit when bypassed.
Simple and powerful EQ
Lots of sound-sculpting potential, plus a presence control that works in the power section to adjust the overall bite as you wish.
External bias points
No need to tinker inside when changing output valves. The Sheriff 25 comes equipped with EL86s as standard but can be biased to use EL84s as well.
Celestion G-12H Anniversary
Noted for its contribution to 60s and 70s classic rock, the Celestion G-12H has plenty of bass tension, treble clarity, punch, and aggression. It is used in our Sheriff 212 cabinet, making it the perfect choice for the Sheriff 25 combo.
