The 30-watt Soldano Super Lead Overdrive (SLO-30) 1x12" combo sings and roars with the same voice as its iconic big brother, the SLO-100. It's a harmonically rich character that remains at the forefront of modern high-gain electric guitar amplification But this 30-watt tube combo is optimized for today's studio and stage applications.
On the SLO-30, you'll find the same Normal and Overdrive channels - including independent Preamp (gain) and Master controls - that we've all come to expect from the SLO brand. Even the Normal channel's mini-harmonize switches are present and accounted for. Turn the amp on, and you'll be greeted by a tube FX loop and variable slave output, just like the original.
The SLO-30 combo is equipped with a Celestion G12H-150 Redback driver that delivers tight, fat bass, relaxed highs, and the right amount of Celestion's signature midrange to deliver convincing basslines. The 2-inch Redback voice coil delivers massive sound and extreme power, while maintaining the detail and clarity you need to play loud and clean.

Depth control
Historically, one of the most popular SLO "mods" is the addition of a DEPTH control to the power section of the amplifier. Elevator control is now standard on the SLO-30. The combination of Depth and Presence controls provides a powerful EQ section that goes far beyond a classic tone stack, enhancing the amp's sonic possibilities.
Improved noise level
The new SLO-30 features modern grounding, DC-based filament circuitry and circuit separation to avoid crosstalk between channels, resulting in excellent ratio signal/noise without altering the purity of the amplifier.
Versatile and seamless effects loop
The new ultra-transparent tube effects loop handles all types of pedals, from vintage pedals to line-level rack units.
Switching front panel channels
Players familiar with the original SLOs will be pleased with the addition of a front panel channel selection toggle switch. It is perfect for applications such as studios, where you do not want to use a footswitch.
