Single Channel and Voice Switch Go from massive single-coil California tones to a mid-'60s British record, all in one channel. Voice II boosts the mids at the input for added punch and cut. Compared to V40 Deluxe, V140 is bigger, louder, fuller and more strident on every level for those who want it. V140SD_detail07_1000.jpg Mid Kick Works in conjunction with the center potentiometer to boost mid frequencies in the EQ section. The more you push the mid pot, the more it pushes overdriven sounds, especially with humbuckers. Position 2 is new (compared to the V40 Deluxe) and is extra shrill and cutting. Nice clarity with cleans too. V140SD_detail05_1000.jpg Long Tank Spring Reverb The V140 has a valve driven long tank spring reverb, for authentic vintage style verb. We've also included a tone pot on the reverb that lets you go from a soft, dark ambience to much brighter, 'elastic' sounds. The reverb is also footswitchable. V140SD_detail03_1000.jpg Valve Tremolo Tremolo was one of the very first guitar effects to be used amazingly in everything from blues, rock'n'roll, country, rock, Americana, pop and more. It's very popular in the V40 Deluxe, so we've included it here as well. A little or a lot, especially with the reverb - completely addictive! V140SD_detail13_1000.jpg Low Power Mode If 100 watts is too huge for some environments, you can upgrade to 30 watts. It's still very loud, but the feel and dynamics are different, allowing you to explore different sounds and textures, either standalone or with your favorite pedals. V140SD_detail10_1000.jpg Hard-bypassable effects loop The hard-bypassable effects loop lets you use delays, reverbs, and more. after the preamp section of the amp to keep a clean sound, especially if you use the drive in the amp. The V140 is a fantastic pedal platform either straight forward or using the loop.
