The G12M-65 Creamback is less sensitive/effective (97 dB) than the Vintage 30 and the H-75 Creamback, using a 12-inch, medium-magnet (35-ounce) driver. Celestion calls it a “stronger greenback” and that’s the perfect description. Expect the classic, “woody” sound and feel to add color to your mid-gain sounds, with a little speaker breakup to boot. Using two together in this cabin increases bottom-end strength and power handling, with plenty of space-filling "3D" projections from front and rear. There is so much character in this cabinet for classic low/mid gain tones at any volume.
It fits perfectly with the unique dynamics and feel of the V40 family.
