The Pitchblack X mini not only features true bypass to output sound exactly as it was input, but now includes a built-in ULTRA BUFFER.
Why is this important?
The majority of electric guitars use passive pickups with a high impedance output. When using a cable, there is a loss of tone, usually high frequencies, after about 6 m (about 18 feet) and this problem gets worse the longer your cable is. A buffer amplifies the signal over long cables to prevent loss of tone, keeping it clean and clear, even when your pedal is turned off.
The ULTRA BUFFER improves sound quality in bypass mode, so you can still maintain audio quality even when you use a long cable to connect to the tuner, or when you insert the tuner into a complex effects board.
On the Pitchblack X Mini, you can switch between true bypass and ULTRA BUFFER, depending on your taste and performance environment.
Compact body packed with powerful features
The Pitchblack X mini is the smallest tuner in the Pitchblack Weighing just 124 grams, this tuner features a powder-coated finish with a strong, durable housing.
The LED meter also offers light mode settings for high visibility.
In addition to the enlarged display, more meter LEDs have been added for superior visibility.
The light mode (brightness) can be set to one of two levels, so you can be sure to see the tuner display even better in situations where visibility is difficult, such as on well-lit scenes and environments bright exteriors.

Four meter display modes.
Choose from four meter display types to meet your needs. Besides the typical "Regular" mode, you can use "Strobe" and "Half Strobe" modes to indicate changes in pitch by the direction and speed in which the meter is traveling in order to distinguish even the finest pitch differences; and you can use "Mirror" mode to see two left and right LEDs crossing towards the center when you tune your instrument.
