The Soundcraft Notepad-5 is a compact 5-channel analog mixing console with an integrated 2x2 USB audio interface. It is ideal for music production, podcasts, video editing, interviews, rehearsals, songwriting sessions, and mobile events. This console combines professional analog components, such as a microphone preamp with an XLR/6.35 mm combo input, a 2-band equalizer, and a 100 Hz high-pass filter. Channel 1 offers a high-impedance instrument input for guitars and other high-impedance instruments.
Channels 1 through 3 feature gain/trim controls, monitor output, and level controls. Channels 2 and 3 use 6.35 mm jack line inputs, while channels 4 and 5 are equipped with stereo RCA inputs. Outputs include a Master L/R output on XLR, a 6.35 mm jack monitor output, and a dedicated 6.35 mm jack monitor output button allowing for a choice between mono line output and stereo headphone output. The master section includes a main control knob and four LED indicators with settings of -20 dB, 0 dB, +6 dB, and peak. The Notepad-5 features a rugged metal housing and comes with an external power supply.
