Command and Connectivity
Dominate the stage with 37 velocity-sensitive keys with aftertouch, 8 velocity-sensitive RGB-backlit drum pads, and a row of 8 backlit faders, all arranged in an intuitive, accessible layout. A series of neck-based controls provides additional performance options: you can tweak sounds using the MIDI-assignable touchstrip and accelerometer, expand melodic ideas with octave buttons, and activate sustain, all while keeping your right hand free. The Vortex Wireless offers multiple connectivity options and is equipped with both USB-MIDI and traditional MIDI Out jacks.
Virtual Instruments, Sequencer, and Preset Editor Included
The Vortex Wireless 2 includes a premium suite of virtual instruments, including Hybrid 3, Loom 2, Vacuum Pro, and Xpand!2 from AIR Music Tech, as well as TimewARP 2600 from Way Out Ware. To perform, produce, and record, Ableton Live Lite is included. Finally, a clear, concise, and intuitive preset editor is provided, allowing you to quickly configure any parameter of any preset on your Alesis Vortex Wireless 2.
