The Cry Baby Daredevil Fuzz Wah merges the sweet, expressive voice of a modified Cry Baby Wah with a custom fuzz circuit for a full palette of raw, aggressive tones. The origin of this pedal lies in the love of Daredevil owner and builder Johnny Wator for classic vintage circuits and a desire to create bold new sounds. Inspired by his own personal wah-wielding guitar heroes, Johnny tweaked this circuit over several years, building them for friends and bandmates, before bringing it to Dunlop to be considered as a new addition to the line. The Cry Baby Daredevil Fuzz Wah is the resulting collaboration, and in true Daredevil fashion, it is simple and flat-out dirty. The only external control is a rugged bat-style switch to toggle the fuzz on and off. Removing the bottom plate reveals two additional controls: one to adjust the pedal's output when the fuzz is engaged and another to dial in your preferred level of fuzz nastiness. For instant lead tone, crank both the output and gain—in one step, you’re ready to rip. This fuzz wah is packed with old-school tones and enough power to blow the whole room away. It all comes in a special housing with a vintage crinkle-finish base, a polished aluminum rocker, and a custom-designed tread. Each one is hand-built with through-hole components and true bypass switching to complete this ode to in-your-face rock 'n' roll.
