The Bad Cat Hot Cat 45W tube guitar amp head is a cutting-edge reinvention of the original 2005 classic. Channel 1 features Bad Cat's signature clean, sparkling sound with bright highs and abundant bass. Channel 2 is a high gain channel that throws flames with extraordinary note definition from channel to channel and loads of harmonic content. A selectable Lo/Hi gain switch has been added, allowing channel 1 to deliver huge amounts of headroom or drive into 70s-style crunch sounds, and everything in between. In Channel 2, you have the ability to switch between two distinct flavors of gain, from crunchy blues to metal - the gain combinations on the Hot Cat amp head allow for endless exploration.
The Hot Cat amp head features studio-quality reverb, custom-tuned to work perfectly with each channel. It also includes a completely transparent buffered effects loop that will work with both digital rack effects and analog effects. The two-button pedal switches between channels and Lo/Hi gain mode settings, offering four distinct tones from a single pedal.
