• Each snare drum is born from Canadian sugar maple, recognized worldwide for its sonic and structural qualities.

• We also use white ash and yellow birch for their own unique sonic and visual characteristics.

  Shell hollowed directly from the tree

  Vertical wood grain = better sound projection

  • The snare drum is built from a single piece of wood hollowed out from the tree, so there is:

  • No glue

  • No plies

  • No joints

  • All these aspects eliminate shell distortions since the piece of wood remains in its pure, original form.
