The Catalina Maple features a "gas cap" bass drum mounting plate and the low-profile, off-the-shell GTS 2025 tom suspension system. This system enhances tom sustain and resonance. The 2025 version also includes a new throw-off and butt plate on all Catalina snare drums, ensuring more reliable performance. Gretsch T-Wing wingnuts and bolts are used on all accessories for a comfortable grip, while die-cast bass drum claws with rubber gaskets keep your hoops looking new.
The Gretsch-formula 7-ply maple shell features 30-degree bearing edges and a natural maple interior. The bass drum comes with telescopic spurs and matching maple hoops. Toms and the snare drum are equipped with 2.5mm triple-flanged hoops. All shells are fitted with Remo® heads.
