Benny Greb's signature 14-inch Quick Sand Hats are inspired by the iconic sounds of jazz and funk cymbals from the 70s and 80s. Benny uses a B12 bronze top and a B20 Pure Alloy bronze bottom to combine clear stick definition, depth, warmth, and smoothness to perfect the sound. Both cymbals are sandblasted for a pre-aged vintage sound, and the bottom notch prevents air pockets while improving clarity and control. This notch is inspired by modified vintage cymbals used in the 70s and 80s.
