The Zip-Kit essential kit is a compact acoustic drum set that packs easily into the bass drum for convenient storage and transport. It includes the essential components for learning to play drums: a bass drum with a 90° pedal, a height-adjustable 8-inch snare drum, a 10-inch string-operated hi-hat, and an adjustable drum stool.
It is particularly well-suited for learning or practicing drums in tight spaces and for those who wish to play frequently in different locations. Easy to set up and pack away in minutes, the Zip-Kit is easily transported to school or private lessons. The volume of the snare drum can be dampened using the included foam mute. The essential kit also includes two padded shoulder straps that attach to the bass drum, backpack-style, for added comfort and security.
The essential kit is equipped with four telescopic legs, allowing you to add toms and cymbals when you want to expand your drum set. These toms and cymbals are available at all Zip-Kit retailers.

Bass drum pedal: dual-color silicone beater; the pedal mechanism folds onto the side of the bass drum. Snare drum - 8-inch snare drum with double-ply hydraulic head and Power Dot.
Hi-hat - 10-inch stainless steel cymbals, foldable arm, adjustable string actuator, and high-performance UHMWPE (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) fiber strings.
Practice pad - 6-inch practice pad integrated into the lid.
Drum key - Phillips PH2 drum key stored in its compartment on the lid.
