In 1987, Mike Soldano created the now-legendary 100-watt Super Lead Overdrive tube amplifier head. The SLO set the standard for modern high-gain amplification, and nearly forty years later, it remains one of the most coveted amps in history.
The SLO's drive channel helped it find a home with renowned rock guitarists like Mick Mars (Mötley Crüe), Warren DeMartini (Ratt), and Howard Leese (Heart), while its bluesy crunch channel made the SLO the preferred choice for non-metal stalwarts like Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, Warren Haynes, Gary Moore, and Lou Reed, to name a few.
Cascading gain stages
Designed with the same cascading gain stages as the flagship amp, the SLO pedal is ideal for incorporating the signature Soldano sound into your pedalboard. The front panel of the SLO pedal features the same gain, volume, presence, and 3-band EQ controls as the 100-watt tube amp. The side-mounted Deep switch optimizes low-frequency punch via its depth knob. These controls allow you to go from harmonically rich crunch to one of the most famous high-gain sounds in history.

Volume: Controls the total output volume
Presence: Filters the high frequencies
Gain: Adjusts the total amount of gain applied. Turning this knob clockwise increases it.
EQ Section: Classic Soldano three-band EQ; turning each control clockwise increases the output level of the relevant frequency ranges.
Deep: Adjusts the overall low-frequency punch.
