The 1176 Peak Limiter
A true studio mainstay since its launch in 1967, the 1176 Peak Limiter marked a turning point in the evolution of studio equipment. As the first solid-state peak limiter on the market, its FET transistor circuit gave it a distinctive "enhanced" sound, particularly when pushed to its limits in "British mode."
