In 1987, Mike Soldano created the now-legendary 100-watt Super Lead Overdrive tube amp head, which set the standard for modern high-gain amplification for nearly four decades and remains one of the most coveted amps in history today. The SLO's Overdrive channel was quickly adopted by renowned rock guitarists such as Mick Mars (Motley Crue), Warren de Martini (Ratt), and Howard Leese (Heart).
