ADD CHANNELS TO YOUR CURRENT AMP
One of the most effective ways to use your Synergy SYN-2 (two-module) tube preamp is to add channels to the amp you already own. By connecting the unit to your amp's series effects loop using the simple "3-cable method," you can switch via footswitch between the channels of the two installed Synergy modules and those built into your amp. With a simple press on the programmable Synergy 5F (5-button) footswitch, you can go from your amp's crystal-clear clean tone to the devastating saturation of your modules. Better yet: thanks to the effects loop integrated into the SYN-2, you retain the ability to use your favorite effects (rack or pedal) before or after the preamp section.

POWERFUL SWITCHING OPTIONS
Given the sonic power and the multitude of options offered by the SYN-2, we have ensured that you have two flexible methods to control it. The 5-button Synergy 5F footswitch (sold separately) is, in essence, a fully programmable MIDI controller. By default, the first four buttons recall your preamp module channels, while the fifth activates the unit's "bypass" function. However, a simple procedure allows you to configure the pedal according to your needs. If that's not enough, the SYN-2 two-module tube preamp is fully MIDI compatible. Furthermore, because it accepts 5-pin and 7-pin connectors, it works with almost every MIDI controller on the market.
