The American Classic line combines tradition and Vic Firth style. Featuring bold designs for a fuller sound, the Classics are turned from select hickory - a dense wood with little flex for a more pronounced sound. Hickory is also able to withstand a lot of impact, making it very durable. The wooden tips are deeply cut back for intensified cymbal response.
