DESCRIPTION The MEINL Jam Cajon with fixed internal snare drum is perfect for playing on the go. Its compact design is lightweight and easy to transport to drum circles or acoustic concerts. Made in Europe from Baltic birch wood, the Jam Cajon has excellent low-frequency punch when played near the center and emits snare drum "slap" sounds when hitting the upper corners of the playing surface. Dual internal snare drums are mounted to rest against the inside of the front plate for sensitive response. These sounds are perfect for providing the rhythmic basis for acoustic music.
