The HCS 8/10/12/14/16 Smack Stack (5 discs) consists of five uniquely shaped cymbals designed to create a distinctive sound effect. The Smack Stack's sound is modulated by the tension of the cymbal stand's wing nut. Higher tension produces a crisp attack and short sustain, ideal for quick accents, while lower tension offers a longer sustain. This Smack Stack works perfectly with a snare drum for reinforced backbeats, or can even be used as an alternative to your snare drum. Use all five discs for a fuller sound and increased projection, or combine different sizes to find the sound that suits you best. The discs are available in 8", 10", 12", 14", and 16".
