Every detail of the Alesis Strata Core has been designed to offer a responsive and natural experience for intermediate and experienced drummers. The fully meshed Strata heads have adjustable tension, the 360-degree ARC cymbals are free to move and react like acoustic cymbals, and the active magnetic hi-hat ensures exceptional precision and accuracy.

Drums
A dual-zone snare with independent sounds triggered by the head, cross-stick, and rimshot, followed by 8”/8”/10” dual-zone toms and an 8” kick drum offer a generous playing surface, suitable for all types of single and double kick pedals. Tension is adjustable on all mesh heads, allowing you to precisely set the level of rebound and expressiveness according to your preferences. Abnormal and unwanted vibration zones on the heads are eliminated thanks to our unique patented anti-hotspot sensor.
ARC Cymbals
Strata Core's ARC cymbals are exceptionally responsive and feature a beautifully lathed surface. All three cymbals – the 14” ride and the two 12” crashes – are triple-zone with different sounds triggered by the bell, bow, and edge of each cymbal. Their 360-degree responsiveness allows you to play anywhere on the cymbal. They are mounted on standard acoustic stands, allowing them to react and vibrate naturally without restriction. All cymbals are equipped with dual-edge sensors (patent pending) and profiles allowing for incredible expressiveness without having to change your technique.
Hi-Hat
The 12-inch active magnetic hi-hat is a stand-mounted magnetic system with excellent playability. Like the cymbals, its 360-degree, triple-zone playing surface is extremely responsive. Magnetic position sensing ensures high resolution of pedal movements, giving the non-contact system unparalleled precision. This power module can be used with a wide variety of hi-hat stands and playing techniques.
Hardware
The foundation of the Strata Core is a curved steel rack upon which the toms, cymbals, and module are mounted. Sturdy and flexible, it offers a spacious and compact footprint to adjust the kit to the ideal playing position for your setup. The ARC hi-hat mounts to any hi-hat stand, and the 8-inch kick drum tower fits all single or double pedal configurations. The Crash and Ride cymbals can be mounted on standard acoustic cymbal stands and are not tied to the rack supports.

The heart of the Strata Core is a powerful drum module featuring a 7-inch touchscreen and a powerful BFD sound engine running on a multi-core processor. With over 25 GB of content, spread across 75 kits, over 370 elements, over 800 articulations, and over 144,000 samples with multiple adjustable microphone channels, you will find the sound that suits you.
Experiment with the "stacks" feature to layer articulations and mix microphones individually. Control options include rotary encoders, separate volume knobs, and Bluetooth 5.0 streaming. Improvise with creativity thanks to a customizable trigger engine compatible with all modern Alesis E-kit triggers, MIDI connectivity, and USB storage for sample importing.
