OCTAVE STEEL TONGUE DRUMS
The Meinl Sonic Energy Octave Steel Tongue Drum is crafted from high-quality stainless steel. It features a center bass note surrounded by eight additional notes. Each of these eight notes is composed of two tongues, which allows the sound to be produced in two octaves. The result is a wonderful, meditative sound similar to a handpan. At the base of the drum is the resonance hole, which can be sealed with a silicone plug for an even more compact sound. Three silicone feet under the drum ensure stability. You can play the octave steel tongue drum with mallets or your fingers. Simply place it on a flat surface or on your lap to start playing.
The drum comes with two wooden mallets with rubber heads and a convenient carrying bag with a zipper and handle.
