Warm Audio cables add no gain, coloration, effects, or any "extra" elements to your signal. At Warm, purists believe that a high-quality cable should above all "do no harm" to the signal, ensuring interference-free transmission from one connection point to the next.
“STARQUAD” DESIGN
A traditional balanced cable uses three conductors to transmit audio signals: one shielded conductor for the "hot" (positive) point, one shielded conductor for the "cold" (negative, wired with reverse polarity relative to the hot point), and an outer sheath that serves as ground. A balanced audio system effectively rejects most of the interference induced along the cable by eliminating the common signals between the hot and cold points.
“StarQuad” Design
The “StarQuad” design, featured on all balanced cables in the Premier series, goes even further by using four conductors instead of two: two conductors for the hot point (positive) and two for the cold point (negative), completed by a ground. This configuration offers increased protection against radio frequency interference (RFI) compared to a standard two-conductor balanced cable.
GOLD-PLATED CONNECTORS
The gold-plated connectors in the Premier series significantly reduce corrosion caused by oxidation. Corrosion can lead to audible distortion and noise; this ultra-thin plating ensures the durability of the cables, even under heavy-use conditions (touring, etc.), while ensuring pure, interference-free transmission between your equipment.

“DOUBLE-REUSSEN” SHIELDING
Most cable manufacturing techniques use an outer sheath of conductive wires to provide grounding. Some manufacturers braid these wires, while others wrap them very uniformly to protect the internal conductors from interference.
“Double-Reussen” Shielding
The “Double-Reussen” shielding used in the Premier series goes far beyond conventional techniques: the cable features not one, but TWO distinct shields, with the outer shield wrapped in the opposite direction of the inner shield. This configuration offers much more robust and complete protection against radio frequency interference (RFI), allowing for a dramatic reduction in noise. “Double-Reussen” shielding is slightly more expensive to manufacture, but for those who will accept nothing less than the best, it represents the pinnacle of current balanced cable technology.
