Equally at home on stage or in the studio, Bass Station II is a classic analogue synthesiser that can sound as warm and mellow or as aggressive and harsh as you like. Modulate the filter to make it sing, crank up the distortion to toughen up the bass, and push the resonance to self-oscillation to make bass lines scream.
Featuring two tuneable oscillators, a sub-oscillator for thickening low frequencies, plus noise and ring modulation, the Bass Station II is more than capable when it comes to generating raw sounds. It also features two distinct analogue filter types – the classic multi-mode filter from the original Bass Station and the 24dB/octave Acid filter, with its darker, smoother sound – as well as extensive modulation in the form of two LFOs and a pair of ADSR envelopes.
