Utilizing asymmetrical scalloped lateral cross-bracing, the 40 Series allows for even greater soundboard vibration, resulting in a much more dynamic and controlled bass response. Traditional 40 features include scalloped hybrid bracing, bold herringbone rosette and purfling, inlaid diamond fret markers, open-gear engraved tuners, and a traditional flat headstock.
