The DSF48C Santa Fe NEX is handcrafted in our professional workshop, which has specialized in building precision instruments for over five decades. Its solid spruce top is paired with a solid rosewood back for exceptional projection, power, and dynamic range.
The theme is Southwestern Native American, featuring a black rosette, eagle fingerboard inlays, a gloss natural finish, and gold tuners with amber pearl buttons. The body and fingerboard are fully bound. The mahogany neck is attached to the body with an ultra-strong, traditional dovetail joint.
Designed for performers, it is equipped with Takamine's exclusive CT4-DX™ preamp system, paired with a Palathetic® under-saddle pickup and an original Takamine soundboard transducer for unparalleled amplified response. The CT4-DX allows for independent control of both pickups, each featuring a two-band EQ and a notch filter. You can also adjust the mix level of each pickup and access a built-in chromatic tuner.
