The Player II Modified Telecaster® SH is a classic guitar designed for modern players. The neck is crafted for smooth, fast playability, from the modern "C" profile with a silky satin urethane finish on the back to the comfortable 9.5"-radius slab rosewood or one-piece maple fingerboard with smooth rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets. The alder body provides classic Fender punch and is available in a variety of new, attractive finishes. The Player II Modified humbucker is articulate and high-output, while the Noiseless™ pickup delivers classic Tele® twang and bite, all without unwanted noise or feedback. For added sonic flexibility, the push/pull tone switch splits the neck humbucker to access classic single-coil Tele® tones. The 6-saddle bridge, Short Post Lock tuners, TUSQ® nut, and modern string tree ensure exceptional tuning stability, even for the most demanding steel bends or heavy rock solos.
