DESCRIPTION
Many guitars have been copied, but the EVH Striped Series allows you to recapture the historic and authentic style of Eddie Van Halen... These are powerful, high-performance instruments that are as pleasing to look at as they are to play.
The Striped Series guitar features a basswood Stratocaster®-style body adorned with Eddie's famous stripes: red with black stripes, black with yellow stripes, and white with black stripes.
These unique guitars also feature a graphite-reinforced quartersawn maple bolt-on neck with a hand-rubbed oil finish on the back, a 12"-16" compound radius maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets and black dot inlays, and a heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel for easy neck relief tweaks.
Featuring a single direct-mount Wolfgang® humbucking bridge pickup, the Striped Series guitars are also equipped with a single Stratocaster-style volume control (labeled “tone”) that houses a 500K EVH® Bourns® low-friction potentiometer with treble bleed circuit, a one-ply black pickguard (on the White with Black Stripes model only), a Floyd Rose® locking nut and string retainer, an EVH-branded Floyd Rose® locking tremolo with EVH D-Tuna®, EVH die-cast tuners, chrome hardware, vintage-style strap buttons, an EVH neck plate, and a licensed Fender® Strat® headstock. The White with Black Stripes model also features a top-mount output jack.
