One of the most recognizable features of the JEM is Steve Vai’s signature “monkey grip.” The JEM Junior also features a mahogany body and a jatoba fretboard with a “Tree of Life” inlay. Jatoba has a reddish-brown color and produces rich mids and crisp highs.
