Classic ambiance and contemporary performances
The Gibson Les Paul™ Classic combines the Les Paul model from the early '60s with some functional, proven modifications. As expected, the LP Classic is designed with a mahogany back and maple top coupled with a slim, tapered mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. The BurstBucker™ 61R and 61T zebra open-coil pickups deliver classic Gibson tones of the era with a little extra punch thanks to the open coils. The control assembly includes 4 push-pull potentiometers that offer coil tap, phase switching, and pure bypass choices for functional and versatile sonic variety.
