One (1) directional fabric holder:
The thick, vegan leather top shield directs airflow directly toward the instrument's body to protect it from humidity fluctuations.

Getting started:
Remove the plastic packaging from the Boveda. (Do not open the Boveda itself.)
Simply slide the unwrapped Boveda into its fabric holder pouch.
Fold the top of the pouch over and secure the locking tab that holds the Boveda in place.
Use the strap to securely hold the Boveda over the instrument's soundhole, bridge, neck joint, etc.
Always insert the Boveda into its fabric holder pouch before placing it in an instrument case. The fabric holder allows the Boveda to last longer and be more effective, and acts as a barrier against liquids in the event of an accidental packet puncture.
Do not mix different Boveda relative humidity levels in the same instrument case. Also, do not use Boveda in the same case as other humidification products, as they will cancel each other out and reduce the effectiveness of the Boveda.
NUMBER OF BOVEDA TO USE:
Use one (1) directional humidity control kit with one (1) size 70 (included) 49% relative humidity Boveda packet. If necessary, the directional fabric pouch can also hold 2 size 70 Boveda packets (sold separately here).
PACKAGING:
Each Boveda packet in the directional humidity control kit is individually wrapped.
LIFESPAN:
The lifespan of a Boveda packet varies from 2 to 6 months depending on the time of year, climate, and its case. Unopened packaging: up to two (2) years.
REPLACING BOVEDA:
Perform the touch test. Order replacement packets BEFORE the Boveda packet becomes completely rigid to ensure optimal humidity protection for your instrument.
The Boveda packet is still effective if you notice: • Some rigidity at the corners • Soft areas among some rigid parts.
The Boveda packet is expired if: • The packet is completely rigid.
PRECISION:
Maintains a constant relative humidity (RH) between 45% and 55%.
