To celebrate the 50th anniversary of EMG pickups, the JH Het set is now available with a brand-new brushed stainless steel cover. Available only in 2026, these pickups will give your guitar a unique look and the powerful tone that made them instant classics.
The neck and bridge pickups are inspired by those James used for 30 years, but the result is radically different. The JH-N features individual ceramic poles and bobbins, with a larger and taller core than the JH-60. In the neck position, this provides more attack, higher output, and richer lows. The JH-B uses the same type of core, but with steel pole pieces, unlike the JH-81 which uses bar magnets. This results in the characteristic tight attack with reduced inductance for cleaner lows.
