In the late 60s, the G12H was created by fixing an "H" (Heavy) magnet to the chassis of a G12M guitar speaker. The result: a speaker with higher power handling and a different sonic signature, featuring firmer bass and more pronounced treble.
We therefore added an "H" magnet to the G12M-65 Creamback to create a guitar speaker that delivers the sonic signature of a G12H, combined with the power handling of the Creamback.
The result is the G12H-75 Creamback. It easily handles 75 watts of power and offers the characteristic G12H sound, with tighter bass than the G12M-65 Creamback as well as punchier and more dynamic treble.
The "H" magnet brings more presence, body, and fullness to the Creamback sound. It thickens individual notes, producing a very precise and articulate vocal character.
These additional characteristics allow the G12H-75 Creamback to deliver exceptional performance for guitar solos. Installed in a 4 × 12 cabinet, it delivers a particularly massive and imposing sound.
