With the Microtubes B3K v2, you get all the features of the original model, with the added ability to restore the mids for a more natural sound. The attack switch has been replaced by a tone knob, offering increased control over the upper harmonics (from 3 kHz to 8 kHz). The "Grunt" switch is still present. The new feature is the "Mid Boost," which provides a subtle 6 dB boost between 300 Hz and 1 kHz for better presence in the mix.
