Analog Octave Up
The Tentacle is a classic analog higher octave effect. This is the same octave of our beloved Hoof Reaper pedal. We received so many requests to make this a standalone unit that we just had to make it a reality. Now you can add a great swelling octave to whatever your heart desires! Pair it with your favorite fuzz, attach a headband and unleash your inner Jammy Hendrix. Put it in front of another octave and wow your amp. Throw it into a delay's effects loop and marvel at what happens (then tell us, we'd love to know too). What is better? He has no control! Nothing to worry about at all here, just flip the switch and go for it. The Tentacle is an analog octave up, the effect will become much more pronounced when you use your neck pickup and play above the 12th fret.

Dimensions: 4.75 x 2.50 x 2.00 inches (121 x 64 x 51 mm) with foot pedal
Current draw: 10 mA
Input impedance: 100 kΩ
Output impedance: <1 kΩ
Flexi-Switch® technology

This device features Flexi-Switch® technology! This relay-based true bypass switching style allows you to use momentary and latching style switching simultaneously.

For standard locking operation, press the footswitch once to activate the effect, then press again to bypass.

For momentary operation, hold the pedal down for as long as you want to use the effect. Once you release the switch, the effect is bypassed.

Since the switching is relay based, it requires power to transmit the signal.
Power

This device takes a standard 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. We always recommend pedal specific transformer isolated wall power supplies or isolated multiple output power supplies. The pedals will make extra noise if there is ripple or dirty power. Switching power supplies, daisy chains, and non-pedal-specific power supplies also don't filter dirty power and let unwanted noise through. DO NOT OPERATE AT HIGHER VOLTAGES!
