Universal Audio's Galaxy '74 Tape Echo and Reverb pedal is based on the award-winning UAFX dual-engine processing and one of the most sought-after studio tape delays. It delivers the authentic, warm sound of a classic Roland Space Echo multi-head delay from the mid-70s. This pedal features the authentic character of a vintage Space Echo box, including multiple tape heads, a large analog preamp , and the lush spring reverb sound of the original, while offering updates for even wilder sounds, like the dwell control, a self-oscillating tap tempo delay with double the length of the original machine, and the same dual-FX engine on all UAFX pedals that allows you to run two separate stereo instances at the same time.
Organic Tape Sounds are featured on the Galaxy '74 and provide all the iconic Space Echo sounds you could want, such as wow, flutter, and tape saturation. You have broad control over your sound with two dedicated footswitches (on/off and tap tempo), six knobs to control echo rate, feedback, echo volume, input (or tape age), dwell (or bass), and reverb volume (or treble) as well as two switches to select alternate tape heads and secondary controls. You can also adjust pedal settings, effects and customize unique oscillation sounds via the UAFX Control app via wireless Bluetooth.

Personalize your pedal with the mobile app
With the UAFX Control app, you can adjust pedal parameters, adjust effects in real time, and customize unique oscillation sounds to propel your sounds into the stratosphere.
Convenient connections
The 1/4" Hi-Z stereo input/output gives you plenty of connectivity options, as with all UAFX pedals. Connect mono or stereo inputs and outputs, or use the 4-cable method to connect simultaneously to the input to your amplifier and effects loop, as well as compatible multi-FX processors.
