Jackson Audio is excited to announce the release of the NEW WAVE, a 100% analog stereo chorus/vibrato pedal that uses real MN3007 BBD chips and a digital microprocessor for precise control, presets and midi. The pedal has seven saveable presets suitable for classic and modern Chorus, Vibrato and Rotary sounds, including 70s, 80s, Rack, Vibrato, Rotary, Harmonic and User Control sounds. It offers five digitally controlled LFO waveforms and a unique phase control that allows 180 degrees of sync or phase shift between the two LFOs. We had the pleasure of working with Grammy-winning artist Mark Lettieri (Snarky Puppy) to create the ultimate chorus pedal. Please welcome a new way to experience the NEW WAVE! As of 10/25/23, each New Wave comes with both an individual 18V power supply and a voltage doubler cable to convert two 9V spots (rated at 300mA or more) into one 18V power supply for our multi-spot power users.
DESIGN
We set out to create the most versatile and high-performance 100% analog stereo chorus/vibrato pedal. To achieve this, we knew we couldn't go digital, but needed to add the features that digital products provide. Using authentic MN3007 BBD chips, running at 15V like the 80s units did. This pedal delivers the classic tones with added modern precision and all new sounds. Powered by a digital microprocessor, the pedal offers unrivaled control over analog circuitry for unrivaled waveform accuracy and programmable presets, features and MIDI. Designed for guitar, bass and fretboards with an easy-to-use interface.
