The Keeley VoT reverb and tremolo combo offers players a simple and beautiful way to finish their pedalboards. Reverb and tremolo often sound best at the end of your guitar setup, after effects like compression, fuzz, or overdrive. The Keeley VoT gives you the famous Keeley spring and plate reverbs as well as modulated tube amp tremolos. This impeccable combination gives you everything you need for a small, compact pedalboard.
When you become a minimalist, you always consider Reverb and Tremolo. Even guys who say they just plug their guitar cord into the amp...still admit they like the verb and the trem!
So if you're doing a small gig with a compact board or just want the captivating power of tremolo and reverb at the same time, the Keeley VoT is a simple and beautiful combo.
Reverberations
Keeley 2 Spring Reverb is the real deal, it sounds so good, they are now installing it in The Amp. The Keeley Spring Reverb lets you get that bright spring sound that instantly makes your guitar sound bigger.
If you want something super smooth, though, you flip it over to switch into our Plate Reverb. Get that huge burst of plate reverb with just the flip of a switch!
Tremolos
A lotus flower of tremolos.
I don't know what that means, but it sounded good. You have three flourished tremolos in the Keeley VoT.
R+T – is an organic tube biased type tremolo. This means you hear the bias of the tube amp changing enough to modulate the volume. A very personal and captivating tremolo. Very moody.
Mack – This mode is a MagnaAmp style pitch vibrato. Done by carefully changing the phase to achieve a silky smooth pitch change. It seems like you have your finger on the pulse of life. Sometimes a walk on the wild side is the way to go.
HAR – Harmonic amplification resonator. I made that up too. Harmonic Tremolo - two filters that we bypass, back and forth, creating a notch filter that gives you that Tower of Flower sound.
VoT – Lotus
This is where the flowering magic happens: you can set the VoT to Reverb OR Tremolo OR both if you want. Let's say you just need a "verb for the night", just reduce the depth control! Purity of reverberation.
What if you want to use tremolo only? Simply turn off the reverb control.
This pedal can simply and easily be reborn into any combination of sounds you need.
