The Alesis Strike Amp 12 MK2 is a high-performance bi-amplified speaker specifically designed for electronic drums. With an impressive 2,500 watts of power, it provides sufficient headroom for almost any performance or rehearsal.
Its robust 12-inch woofer and 1-inch compression tweeter are optimized for a linear frequency response, ensuring faithful and authentic reproduction of acoustic and electronic drum sounds.
The performance of the Strike Amp 12 MK2 is exceptional, with a maximum sound pressure level of 132 dB and a frequency range of 44 to 20 kHz; a range wide enough to reproduce the full power of your kick drum, down to the crystalline snap of your snare and hi-hats.
All the connections you need, including Bluetooth®
The Strike Amp 12 MK2 features two XLR + 1/4" combo inputs to connect your electronic drum kit and/or a multipad instrument, each with its own independent volume control. You can also wirelessly connect a mobile device to the Strike Amp 12 MK2 via Bluetooth to stream music during rehearsals or breaks.
An XLR output is also available to daisy-chain multiple speakers or send the signal from your Strike Amp to a front-of-house console.
Suitable for all stages and venues
Stages and rehearsal spaces can quickly become muddy and cluttered, with the low frequencies of different instruments overlapping. The Strike Amp 12 MK2 is equipped with a high-pass filter (HPF) to quickly eliminate unwanted frequencies and ensure a perfect sound in the mix.
Unwanted electrical interference is also common; the ground lift switch on the Strike Amp 12 MK2 eliminates hum and buzz caused by ground loops.
Lightweight and road-ready design
The Strike Amp 12 MK2 is both rugged and lightweight (15.7 kg), which greatly facilitates transport and setup for gigs or rehearsals.
While the Strike Amp 12 MK2 can be used in a wedge position, its versatile design also allows it to be used upright or on a stand. This lets you direct your sound exactly where you want it, which is particularly useful for outdoor concerts or in venues with limited sound reinforcement systems.
