The IceCube IC-1 is a balanced balanced line isolator designed to quickly eliminate hum and noise in an audio system by simply inserting it into the signal channel.
Inside the IceCube, an Eclipse transformer isolates the input from the output and blocks extraneous noise. While small transformers are rarely efficient below 100 Hz, the IceCube is exceptionally linear between 20 Hz and 18 kHz. It is also capable of supporting up to +10 dB at 20 Hz with less than 0.01% distortion. It represents a simple and effective solution to resolve noise problems, without limiting bandwidth or introducing artifacts and other unpleasant sounds.
