Radial's USB-Pro is a high-resolution stereo DI designed to collect audio signals directly from a computer's USB port and transfer them to a pair of balanced audio outputs for feeding a mixing console, recorder or sound system.
“Plug & play” and easy to use, the USB-Pro automatically configures with Mac OS X, Windows XP, Vista and 7 systems, eliminating the need for dedicated drivers.
Unlike devices that are limited to 16-bit, 44.1 kHz, the USB-Pro operates at 24-bit, 96 kHz, which provides more headroom and detail.
This also eliminates the need for an additional audio interface, or dedicated converter, when transferring signals and streamlines the production process in professional environments.
Connection to the computer is via a USB Type B port. The digital-to-analog conversion is monitored via the headphone amp to ensure the signal is routed correctly.
A Mono-Sum switch can be engaged to check the signal distribution on two outputs and possible phase problems. In addition, a “Ground-lift” prevents potential ground loops.
On the side, 2 switches allow you to insert isolation transformers into the signal path, on each output, to block DC voltage offsets that sometimes appear in some live situations.
Like all Radial products, the USB-Pro is designed to withstand professional touring conditions. Inside, the construction is foolproof and ensures maximum circuit longevity.
