Boveda simplifies humidity management for your wooden (fretted, bowed, and other) instruments. It automatically humidifies and dehumidifies, according to your instrument's needs.
No more foams, snakes, or sponges that require constant attention and can damage the instrument, alter the sound and playability, and lead to costly repairs.
Boveda reaches and maintains a constant relative humidity (RH) level between 45% and 55%, the optimal range for wooden instruments.

How to use Boveda in your instrument case:
Remove the plastic packaging from Boveda. (Do not open the Boveda itself.)
Simply slide the unwrapped Boveda into the pouch(es) of its leak-proof fabric holder(s). (A Boveda fabric holder is soft, like a polishing cloth.)
Place the Boveda in the case and close the lid. Always keep your case closed when using Boveda.
No maintenance for months! At first, Boveda needs some time to stabilize the humidity, so your first Boveda will last less time than subsequent ones. After your first set, Boveda will last 2 to 6 months depending on the time of year, climate, and your case. Replace it when it becomes rigid.

Large size is suitable for fretted or bowed string instruments (acoustic guitars, etc.). Contains: 4 Boveda Size 70 packs (49% relative humidity) and 2 double fabric pouches (2 pockets): 12.5" x 4.25" (unfolded); 6.625" x 4.25" (folded).
Small size is intended for woodwind (fretted, bowed, etc.) instruments. Contains: 2 Boveda Size 70 packs and 1 single fabric pouch (1 pocket): 6" x 4.25".
Always insert the Boveda pack into a fabric pouch before storing it in your instrument case. Do not mix different relative humidity levels of Boveda packs in the same case. Also, do not use Boveda packs with other humidification products in the same case, as they will counteract each other and reduce the effectiveness of the Boveda packs.
