The Super Distortion® T delivers the performance of the popular Super Distortion® in direct replacement humbucker Tele® bridge pickups. We've built the same blend of power and sound that made the original Super Distortion® the global standard for high-output humbuckers. We've also changed the sound to account for the fact that the Super Distortion® T will be installed in the classic tilted bridge position. Like the full-size version, the Super Distortion® T features 4-conductor wiring for parallel humbucker and split-coil modes.
Since the Super Distortion® T will be installed in the tilted bridge position of a 25 ½" scale guitar, we have adjusted the specifications of the original Super Distortion® humbuckers to compensate. Treble response is smoother and tighter bass response Due to their narrow magnetic fields, dual blade Tele® replacements are generally not well known for their separation ability.
