The BASS9 Bass Machine transforms any guitar into nine different basses without the need for special mics, MIDI, or instrument modifications. The BASS9 features a new algorithm maximized to transpose one to two octaves down with superior dynamics and tracking.
The rotary knob allows you to select one of nine iconic sounds:
- PRECISION: Pays homage to the iconic Fender P Bass®.
- LONGHORN: Emulates the Danelectro® 6-string bass, ideal for baritone-style tones
- FRETLESS: Electric bass and fretless bass.
- SYNTH: A tribute to the classic Taurus® synthesizer.
- VIRTUAL: Allows the user to adjust bass body density and neck length for a variety of bass sounds
- BOWED: Classic bowed bass
- SPLIT BASS: Allows the guitarist to play the bass on the low strings (all notes below F#3) and the chords or melody with the high strings.
- 3:03: A polyphonic salute to the highly sought-after Roland TB-303® vintage bass synthesizer
- FLIP-FLOP: Inspired by EHX's octave multiplexer, it provides a 70s-style logic-controlled sub-octave generator that tracks smoothly.
The pedal is equipped with independent effects and Dry volume controls so guitarists can fine-tune their mix with the effects output jack, as well as an always-on Dry output jack that delivers the input signal to a unit gain.
Controls 1 and 2 have been designed to adjust specific parameters for each of the nine programs. For example, in PRECISION, CTRL 1 controls sub-octaves while CTRL 2 mimics the tone control of the original instruments.
