PINK TACO HEAD
The Pink Taco V2 is the little sister of the critically acclaimed BE-100 and was created for the many musicians who demanded the Friedman sound in a small, compact, lightweight and streamlined form factor.
Dave Friedman has been designing and building guitars for the stars since the early '90s. After two decades of amp modding and consulting for other well-known amplifier companies, Dave finally brought his talent to a new line of guitars. production amps under his name Friedman Amplification.
The Pink Taco V2 is Dave's latest version of this now legendary hand-powered, 20-watt, EL84-powered fire eater. Capable of producing many styles of music, from blues to classic rock and heavy rock to metal by simply adjusting the gain and master control and adding new switches.
Handcrafted in the USA, the Pink Taco V2 head/combo uses tongue-and-groove Baltic birch construction and the combo houses a 16-ohm, 12-inch Celestion Creamback G12M-65 driver that delivers bass, the midrange response and signature sound you expect from a Friedman Amplifier.
Many people don't believe that an EL-84 amp can deliver the tight bass and midrange that an EL-34 amp can produce. The Pink Taco V2 proves the opposite! Dave designed this amp to sound like a 100-watt EL-34 monster, using custom transformers and the cleanest signal path possible.
Plug it into Pink Taco V2 and you'll instantly notice the tight bass and rich, harmonically detailed chords and single notes. This amp cleans up remarkably well with the guitar's volume control, even with the amp at higher gain settings.
