BASED ON THE MODULATED DELAY OF OUR CAVERNS AND THE DIRECTOR'S MODULATED REVERBERATION, PITCH BENDING OR REVERSE

WELL, KEELEY DID IT AGAIN…

The Parallax delivers the delay edge of the legendary Caverns combined with the Realizer's unique shoegaze-inspired reverbs in a pedalboard-friendly enclosure. On one side of the Parallax, analog-style modulated delays create a soft bed of warm repeats, while the other side creates swirls of reverse-tuned vibrato (ideal for those without a vibrato arm on their guitar) to ambient modulations to form perfect pools of reverberation reflection. When both sides are combined, the Parallax offers the perfect bottom-end solution for shoegaze, ambient and experimental sound seekers.

REVERBED SIDE OF PARALLAX:

Three finely tuned reverb effects for shoegaze and ambient guitarists who have already found their perfect drive or fuzz sound. Grab your favorite offset guitar, choose your favorite reverb mode, and slowly dive into the hazy, atmospheric sounds you've always dreamed of.

PARALLAX REverb MODES:

Soft Focus – A lush and surreal recreation of the popular Soft Focus patch from the Yamaha FX500 multi-effects processor, a late '80s rack unit that was used to achieve many of the signature delay and modulation effects used in the early 90s. Adjusting the DECAY control changes both the reverb decay time and the double delay feedback. DEPTH controls the depth of the 4 choir voices.
Reverse (Reverse Reverb) – Inspired by the two most popular rack reverb effects of the 80s and 90s, the Yamaha SPX90 and the Alesis Midiverb II. DECAY toggles between 8 different fixed delay times, ranging from 150ms to half a second.
No tremolo bar, no problem! The reverse mode also includes envelope-triggered vibrato that emulates the pitch bend of a Jazzmaster tremolo bar. Changing the DEPTH control will set the depth to which the “term bar” is pushed. The WARMTH control in this mode is designed to function like the tone control on the Jazzmaster rhythm sensor.
Hall (Hall Reverb with Ascending Shimmer) – Hall reverb with an octave upwards. The output of the reverb is fed into a higher octave which is then fed back into the input of the reverb, creating an infinitely ascending octave feedback loop. The DEPTH control will change how this height effect is noticeable.
DELAY SIDE OF PARALLAX

The Delay side of the Parallax offers three-way switchable modulation that gives you access to even more analog textures. These carefully expressed echoes fit well into the mix, whether clean or paired with your favorite drive or fuzz.

PARALLAX DELAY MODULATION MODES:

Off – No modulation, classic analog style warm delay.
Deep – Heavy, swirling modulation added to the delay track.
Light – A softer, softer modulation added to the delay track.
Use the Rate, Blend and Repeats buttons in conjunction with the Mode switch to unlock the full palette of Delay sounds in Parallax.
