ANALOG DELAY M169 CARBON COPY®
THE DESCRIPTION
• 100% analog bucket-brigade technology
• Up to 600 ms delay with switchable modulation
• Internally adjustable modulation circuit
• True bypass
CONTROLS
MOD switch turns modulation on/off (blue LED indicates on)
The MIX knob controls the mix
wet and dry signals REGEN button sets
number of repetitions
The DELAY knob sets the delay time
on/bypass effect (the blue LED indicates on)
POWER
The MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay is powered by a 9-volt battery (remove the bottom plate to install), a 9-volt power adapter such as the Dunlop ECB003/ECB003EU, or a BrickTM DC power supply.
DIRECTIONS
• Run a cable from your guitar
to the INPUT jack on the Carbon Copy and another cable from the OUTPUT jack on the Carbon Copy to your amplifier.
• Start with all orders at 12 p.m.
• Activate the effect by pressing the footswitch.
• Turn the REGEN knob clockwise to increase the number of repetitions or counterclockwise to decrease it.
• Turn the MIX knob clockwise to increase the ratio of wet to dry signal or counterclockwise to decrease it. Turning fully clockwise gives a 100% wet signal, while counterclockwise gives a 100% dry signal.
• Turn the DELAY knob clockwise to increase the delay time or counterclockwise to decrease it.
• Press the MOD switch to add modulation to your delay signal. Modulation width and speed can be adjusted internally with a 2mm flathead screwdriver
(see diagram A).
