The TCSKI Superkick I is a 10 mil single-ply bass drum head, featuring a textured white coating and a built-in Superkick ring that controls resonance, enhances low frequencies, and provides a precise, well-defined attack. The patented "Floating Muffling System" uses a narrow strip of acoustic felt to achieve a naturally pre-muffled sound. The felt moves and "breathes" with the head, while eliminating unwanted high frequencies and accentuating the punch of the low end.
Often imitated but never equaled, the Superkick bass drum head line is an industry best-seller. It is preferred by drummers, drum techs, and sound engineers looking for a musical and controlled bass drum sound without the need for blankets, pillows, or external muffling systems.
All Superkick models offer superior bass drum sound control with no extra effort; they are available in single-ply, double-ply, and hybrid versions, with clear, textured white, "Vintage," and "Reflective" finishes.
