The Andy Summers Walking on the Moon is an analog flanger featuring a simple yet powerful set of controls: RATE, RANGE, and COLOR. RATE sets the modulation speed, ranging from slow, smooth filter sweeps to choppy vibrato. RANGE controls the width or how deep the effect goes into the low frequencies. The COLOR control adjusts the intensity of the flanger effect, from subtle chorus effects to classic jet-plane whooshes. These three controls interact to create a wide palette of modulation effects.
Additionally, the Walking on the Moon pedal incorporates a filter matrix that disengages the LFO from the flanger circuit, freezing the flanger for a fixed filter effect, allowing you to add metallic or bell-like harmonics to your sound without the motion of a traditional modulation pedal. A DRY output allows you to separate the dry signal from the processed signal.
Special artist edition graphics by Andy Summers adorn the chassis, and a Walking on the Moon tribute poster, created by Laura Josephson, is included with every pedal.
